Currency / Exchange rate
The national currency is the Venezuelan Bolivar Fuerte. From January 2003 Venezuela introduced exchange controls. Once you have made your reservation, we will be happy to provide you with more information about the official exchange rate.

Power supply /Voltage
Voltage is 110 volts with US type plugs (flat sided).
If you are coming from Europe, you will need an adaptor for any electrical appliances.

Time difference
In the summer 6 ½ hours less middle European time (in the winter 5 1/2 hours).

Water
We recommend bottled or filtered water for human consumption instead of tap water.
