Margarita Island is the paradise island known as the "Pearl of the Caribbean". It is situated 38 km north east of the mainland of Venezuela. With an average temperature between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius the whole year, gorgeous beaches, excellent scuba diving, great nightlife and a lot more, it is the main tourist destination in Venezuela.

Besides enjoying windsurfing, kite surfing and the beauty of nature surrounding you, you can also enjoy snorkelling, horseback riding, fishing and golfing. On the island you can find museums, amusement parks, and the city is a duty-free zone which makes it a great place for shopping.

If you prefer to go on an adventure, you can take a jeep ride to Macanao, or go by boat to see the impressive mangroves of la Restinga National Park. You will be amazed with all the miracles of nature you will find. Margarita is a small but modern island with many opportunities for leisure and relaxation.
